Imagine starting the day in a beautiful villa, wrapped in soft morning light, with that quiet excitement building hour by hour. You get ready surrounded by the people you love, with laughter, emotion, and attention to the small details that make the day feel truly personal.
The ceremony begins with something deeply meaningful: it’s officiated by the bride’s mother, a pastor. Her words bring a rare intimacy to the moment, and you can feel it in the room—in the looks, the gestures, the shared silence.
Hannah and George move through the ceremony without performance: a smile, a hand squeeze, a breath before the vows. These are the moments I’m always looking for—the ones that tell the story with honesty rather than perfection.
Then the energy shifts. After the ceremony, the celebration spills into the streets with a lively second line through the French Quarter. Brass, drums, movement, joy—everything becomes more spontaneous and unpredictable, which is exactly where documentary photographs come alive.
The reception continues that rhythm in an elegant setting at Marché. Warm atmosphere, conversations, laughter—and when Hannah and George step onto the dance floor, their connection pulls everyone into a night that feels both chic and genuinely joyful.
My approach stays consistent from start to finish: quiet, documentary-led, and attentive. I focus on real emotion and candid moments without interrupting what’s happening, so the photographs stay true to what you actually lived.
I’m based in France, available in La Rochelle, Île de Ré, Bordeaux, Paris, and anywhere in France. I’m fully bilingual (English/French) and spent five years photographing weddings in the United States, which helps international couples feel understood and supported—while the photography remains natural, discreet, and story-driven.
