Some weddings stay with you not because everything goes to plan, but because everyone adapts with incredible calm and care. Bethany and Andrew told me just ten minutes before the ceremony that their original venue had cancelled due to heavy rain.

What happened next was simple—and genuinely moving. While we took a short walk and caught our breath, their family and friends immediately stepped in to solve the problem.

Within an hour, they had found a new location, styled it beautifully, and rebuilt the day with warmth and intention. No drama, no panic—just a real sense of support around the couple, which is exactly what makes photographs feel alive.

Moments like this are why I work in a documentary way: to capture what’s real, including the unexpected. When plans change, what matters most shows up clearly—people, connection, and the way a community carries a couple through the day.

I’m based in France, available in La Rochelle, Île de Ré, Bordeaux, Paris, and anywhere in France. I’m fully bilingual (English/French) and spent five years photographing weddings in the United States, which helps international couples feel understood and supported—especially when the day calls for calm, flexibility, and discreet storytelling.
