No town hall that day: mass at the church nearby, then back to the vineyard for the rest. Before the church they had planned a first look in the study of the house, alone, before the hundred and twenty-five guests arrived.<\/p>\n

Cocktail hour ran two hours and very little of it was quiet. A game of Killers started as people walked in, a guess-the-bride-or-groom round, back-to-back speeches, and a long run of group portraits, including one of every guest photographed from the tower of the house.<\/p>\n

The couple session happened around the property, in the vines, in late-day light. Dinner followed in the barn. Cake cutting, first dance, an outfit change, then the dancefloor opened on a surprise.<\/p>\n

Hina and Maximilien met in Chicago and live in Paris. They married where Maximilien’s family makes wine.<\/p>\n

A wedding photographer based in France, between La Rochelle, \u00cele de R\u00e9, Bordeaux and Paris, travelling anywhere. My approach is documentary: I photograph what happens, without staging it.
